My name is Paul Dames, born in 1970 and, after having seen quite a bit of the world, since
2015 owner of Fysiotherapie GOED Amsterdam.
From my early interest in martial arts, meditation, applied kinesiology and personal coaching,
I started studying Physiotherapy in 1992 and graduated from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam in 1996.
After this I specialized further in McKenzie therapy, ultrasound, shockwave and EPTE.
I therefore also treat many people with back/neck complaints and various tendon injuries.
In my treatments I try, together with the patient, to achieve the most optimal result
varying between full recovery and coping with limitations as well as possible. Hereby
taking into account the balance between the load of the body, the load capacity, the possibilities for deploying physiotherapeutic techniques and the use of (online) exercises and training.
An open personal approach helps me gain insight and motivate people in
achieving their goals. Where necessary, we make use of expertise available in the practice
or referral options.
In addition to my work with patients, my work also consists of managing the
practices of Fysiotherapie GOED Amsterdam and taking care of personnel policy &
quality control. For this I work closely with my back office team Hanneke and Clarice.
As a practice owner I stand for a high-quality team of therapists that work according to
the latest KNGF guidelines and insights. With affiliation with the Stichting Keurmerk Fysiotherapie
(SKF) we hope to have safeguarded this quality for you as a patient.
As a practice, we try to be the point of contact in your district or neighborhood if you have complaints about your posture or musculoskeletal system. In addition, you can also take, where possible preventive measures with us, through our fitness offer.
As a team, we do our best every day to provide you with the best possible service.
With the motto: from GOOD to BETTER to BEST, I am also the point of contact if something is not right
running all right.
I look forward to seeing you in one of our practices.
